Shuttle van on steroids

Its got 4x4 and its got tank tracks. IceCube doesn't mess around when it comes to shuttle vans.

Computers and DOMs

Each one of these cables are connected to 4 Digital Optical Modules in the ice. There are 60 of these DOMs connected to this computer and there are 86 of these computers in our cluster. Basically out of this computer is a string 2 kms long with 60 DOMs spaced out a kilometer and buried under the ice. Through these 86 computers on the surface we control the DOMs deep in the ice as well as collect the raw neutrino hits data that we are looking for.
