For baking really big cakes

I found two things in Chamberlain hall today. A plasma fusion reactor and this giant oven.

While in Wisconsin... Ice cream scoop a day

I'm falling behind on this claim

Winterovers on a Boat

Mark Krasberg who will be leaving IceCube soon for a job in New Mexico took us sailing on Lake Mendota on a Hoofer's boat. Big thanks to Randy who reserved the J/29 for the afternoon. A regatta was also going on and we chased some of the A-scows, a type of flat bottom boat, around the lake. The A-scows are beautiful boats, long and sleek 38 footers that are barely in the water. Definitely fast. All pics coutersey of Mark.

Milwaukee

Met up with Gino in Milwuakee and met the Ong-Caceres side of his family.  Uncle Abe, Tita Mila and Sol showed us around town and made some great food.

The Milwuakee River.

It looks like a tropical island here.

Uncle Abe and Gino on some rocks.

Big Day for JPL

Amazing picture of MSL's EDL. Definitely some great work happening here by the Nav team.

Started my new Job with IceCube Neutrino Observatory

Just got to Madison to start two months of training for my upcoming winterover at South Pole. Relieved to finally be here, the last week was a marathon of packing and button things up. Not quite done yet, stuff some affairs to settle during my October break before deploying.
