After landing on the Ice Runway, we took IVAN THE TERRA BUS to the NSF chalet, straight into an orientation. We also got our room assignments. I'm in building 155 and as it turns out Adam who was in my Denver orientation group is one of my roomates. 155 is where they put all us new guys. Adam's a snowboarder and worked for the forest service in Missoula, Montana before coming down to McMurdo. Bad thing about 155 is there are no windows, good thing about 155 is we live right above the cafeteria so we just roll out of bed and eat.
